Gross Motor Skills -
Dance/Physical Activities

Stand on tiptoes.
Kick a ball.
Start to run
Climb on and down from furniture without help.
Walk backward and jumping.
Throw a ball overhand.
Carry a large toy or several toys while walking.
Scribble at will.
Turn over a container and pour out its contents.

Sensory Skills

Sits to look at books independently.
Pays attention for 3 minutes.
Explores surroundings.
Points to 5-6 parts of a doll when asked.
Enjoy exploring all five senses - sight, sound, taste, touch and smell. Sensory skill trainings.
The ability to hear sounds, distinguish between similar sounds or words, and separate relevant speech from background noise.

Language Skills

Point to things or pictures when they are named.
Know the names of parents, siblings, body parts, and objects.
Say a sentence with two to four words.
Follow simple Instructions.
Repeat words overheard in a conversation.
Vocabulary, instructions, answering basic questions. The ability to clearly pronounce individual sounds in words and sentences.

Social/Emotional Skills

Copy others, especially adults and older children Get excited around other kids.
Show growing independence Discipline skills when they show increasing defiance (doing things you told them not to do) Interact with other children Be more aware of themselves as separate from others Sharing, respecting, listening, cooperating, eye contact, expressing feelings.

Cognitive Skills
(Learning and Thinking)

Be able to follow simple instructions or two-part instructions (such as "drink your milk, then give me the cup").
Use trial and error to start problem-solving – for example, if they can’t fit a puzzle piece in one spot, they might try it somewhere else.
Find things even when they're hidden under two or three layers.
Sorting, shapes and colors. Sort objects by category (i.e., animals, flowers, trees, etc).

Basic Requirements

Enrolled students will require:

Hi-speed internet (minimum of 50mbps)
Access to a desktop / laptop / tablet or iPad to attend classes
Parent and Toddler both need to present and involved. The teacher will be conducting the activities but the parent will help the toddler to do the same.
