Spooktacular Halloween at Class of One!The Class of One pulled off an epic Halloween celebration filled with fun and spooky vibes! It all kicked off with a prayer, setting the enchanting tone for the day. The teachers wowed us with a fantastic skit created especially for their students, adding that extra touch of excitement. Parents and children joined forces for thrilling combined performances, all decked out in their Halloween best, creating an eerie yet fantastic atmosphere. World Animal Welfare Day 2023Together we can change the way the world works and end animal cruelty and suffering, forever. World Mental Health Day 2023Mental health is a fundamental human right, and at The Class Of One, we take it seriously. Our primary, middle and senior wing recently united to commemorate World Mental Health Day, recognizing the importance of mental well-being. Led by Ms. Tejal Sahni and Ms. Nitu Agarwal, our Psychology counsellor, the session was an interactive exploration of emotions, thoughts, and mindfulness. We discussed positive affirmations and the power of breathing exercises. This event provided a safe space for students to share and discuss their feelings, empowering them to tackle everyday challenges. We organized an inter-house street play competition where important issues like gender equality and environmental conservation were discussed. Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire, and Topaz - the four houses competed against each other, and Ruby House emerged as the winner. All students prepared with great dedication, breaking the barriers of language, and showed that with firm determination, nothing is impossible.

Our young learners enthusiastically participated in the "Nanhe Kavi Competition," showcasing their expressive talents. Additionally, they initiated a "Read to Lead" drive, empowering illiterate individuals in our community. The competition's exciting rounds, including spelling challenges, recognized outstanding participants. Today on 19th July, students and teachers of TCO1 came together to commemorate Nelson Mandela Day, embracing his values of peace, equality, and community service. The special assembly was a heartfelt tribute to Mandela's enduring impact. Our students engaged in various service projects, they cleaned up the neighbourhood, planted trees, brought joy to local seniors, and donated to underprivileged children. In the spirit of Ubuntu, (an ancient African word meaning 'humanity to others') organised a poster-making competition, where children beautifully portrayed oneness and love among all. The event celebrated the beauty of motherhood, including the charm, beauty, and flaws of being a mother. The bond of love shared between kids and mothers was honoured and celebrated, as it is considered the sweetest gift given by God.
